The talk about the new height has of the world’s highest peak Mt Everest had been in the air for a while no. Finally, the new height has been revealed by the survey department of Nepal and the Chinese authorities. The new height of the Everest has grown by 86 cm it seems as the heights the measured height is said to be 8848.86 m from the sea level.
There you go, a new height to reach at the top of the world. Though 86cm is not a huge difference, however the previous height 8848 metres which had been height of the Everest since 1955 will not be taken same now.
After the massive earthquake of 2015 in Nepal, many were in doubt whether the height of the Everest has shrunken on risen from the effects of the massive earthquake and now finally after five long years the new height has been revealed after surveying all the details and measuring jointly by Nepal and China. The d bate is finally over. For those of you who wanted to reach on top of the world- Mt. Everest, You have a new height to claim now.
On the other hand, the International Mountain is nearly here which is on December 11. However, the tourism industry has nit been able to find the optimal way to get out and resume their activities smoothly due to the Covid-19 situation.
Nepal on the other hand is now partially open for the foreign nationals for trekking and mountaineering only. The concerned authorities has cleared around 12 destinations for trekking and mountaineering and they have already been receiving both domestic and international tourists as well. However, there are some mandatory health and safety guidelines to be followed while traveling to Nepal for trekking.
