Pokhara

Pokhara is a a tourism spot of Nepal, there is no doubt in that. Phewa taal (Lake). 

This might not be as appealing from far away but it is one of the best part of this place. Boating might seem a casual part but the environment around this place is something that so refreshing. The lakeside walk- around is amazing during the evening time. 

At the middle of the lake, there is a Taal Barahi temple which adds another layer to this beautiful location. Boating is the only way to reach at this small yet popular temple which has its own history and stories. 

World peace pagoda. 

World Peace Pagoda is not just a symbol but also one of the best architecture to witness. Located at the hill top, this famous tourist site is not all about the pagoda. When you reach at the top of the hills to this place, you will nit be able to witness the beautiful white pagoda but also one of the most beautiful scenery of the high range mountains from this place. You can also take this site of the peace pagoda as a view point. 

Sarangkot. 

When you reach at Pokhara, or just over at the heart of the place, you will not only see the birds in the sky but also people flying over (Paragliding) from this beautiful location of Sarangkot. It is a place where one of the famous adventure sports of Nepal, Paragliding takes place. While the place is hugely popular for Paragliding, you can also witness some of the beautiful scenery of deep valley and high mountain ranges from this place. 

Ghandruk.

Just a little high- well in general a short hike will take you to this small and beautiful village, Ghandruk. This small community has been one of the popular attraction of Pokhara for a while now. The locals, Gurungs- one of the kind hearted and most welcoming people you will find in this place. You will get to witness and explore the local Gurung culture here. The food here is delicious- trust me. 

Gateway to Mountains. 

Pokhara is a city covered with high mountains. While you get to see several high mountain ranges from this place like Mt. Machapuchhre and likewise, Pokhara is also a gateway tor for r ach several high mountains. Many trekkers start their trekking journey from Pokhara.
