The tourist destinations listed below is always filled with huge number of visitors, be it any special occasions or any other ordinary day, these places are always crowded.

Bhaktapur

A well known and one of the most famous place inside the Kathmandu valley, this typical ancient Newari town has a culture, history, architectures, arts and stories of its own. When it comes to tourism, the place is always ready to serve their visitors with their best. While the traditional arts, architectures, jatras and festivals are the major highlights of this place, the Newa culture itself is a huge attraction among the tourists. Apart from that, some of the major tourist sites of this place are Changu Narayan Temple, Nyatapola Temple, Bhaktapur Durbar square. 

Bouddhanath Stupa. 

Being one of the world heritage sites of Nepal, Boudhanath stupa is a classic attraction point with classic design. You will never be alone at this place as it is always filled with visitors. The area is surrounded by a handful of monasteries and the places is inhabited by the locals people who follow Buddhism. Byou can immediately feel a different aura when you reach at this place. 

Swoyambunath.

Another stupa that is no stranger to the people of Kathmandu and also to many international tourists who arrive in Nepal. Located at the hilltop, the swoyambunath stupa is one of the peaceful places to be inside the valley. You can also get a great scenic view of the capital from this place. It might take you around half an hour to round of this place and maybe sit down in a nearby cafeteria just to relax for a while. Swoyambunath stupa has its own impressions. 

Pasupatinath Temple.

One of the biggest Hindu temple of Nepal, Pasupatinath receives a huge number of visitors everyday. The Pasupatinath area has several temples which is why there are many visitors as well as worshipers everyday who visit their for religious purposes. Apart from that, many religious activities are performed here in this place in different occasions. The area also has a crematory where the death rituals are performed. 

Kathmandu Durbar square.

Durbar squares are the places always filled with visitors, from locals to international tourists. Kathmandu Durbar square is a place that holds the traditional art and architectures, designs and the taste of the culture right in the heart of the capital, despite being covered by modernisation. Just when you enter at this place, you will immediately realize the difference and the change in vibe while around this place. 

Patan

Patan has one of the three Durbar squares inside the valley. The Patan Durbar  Square is another attraction of the capital, which might look similar to other Durbar square but trust me there us a different vibe in there with a little unique architecture. Apart from that, Mangalbazar is one of the major highlights of Patan, same story but different feeling and different atmosphere. You just have to be there to feel the difference. 

Kirtipur.

Kirtipur is what you call a hidden gem when it comes to tourism. This is one of the ancient Newari town of the capital and the inner parts of Kirtipur still has the same old arts and architectures like decades back. The place is filled with temples, histories and legends. Despite the lower tourist arrival at this place as compared to other destinations, the ones who have visited have admired the place and its beauty which might be one of the reason that Kirtipur is known as the hidden gem. Some of attractions of this place are, BaghBhairab Temple, Umamaheshwar Temple, Newa Lahana Restaurant.

Chandragiri

Chandragiri has suddenly been one of the major tourist destination of the capital with the temple, resorts and other services. Located at the hilltop, chandragiri gives a great scenic view of the Kathmandu valley and on top of that, they have a Cable car- a rope way transportation ( one and only inside the Kathmandu Valley) which is one of the major highlight of this place.
