A near to 100000 total tourist arrival in Nepal in the month of April 2023. The tourist arrival has been growing in Nepal after the effects of Corona Virus. A total of 98,773 in total to be exact, there has been a sudden growth in the tourist arrival as compared to the last year.
Last year in April, 61589 tourists
arrived in Nepal and now with 98773 tourists this year, the arrival grew by 60
percent. This is the data provided by the Department of Immigration, Nepal
which is analyzed and Compiled by Nepal Tourism Board. All of these visitors
have arrived via Air at Tribhuwan International Airport. While many of them are
here for leisure and holidays, some might be here for different purposes other
than recreational activities.
As usual, India has once again topped the list from where Nepal receives highest number of tourists. The list is followed
by USA on the second place and UK on the third. Nepal has always received
highest number of tourists from these countries. On the other hand, there has
also been a noticeable growth of Chinese tourists in Nepal this time. A total of 4,770 tourists arrived to Nepal
from China during the month of April 2023.
