There were a little less than 10000 tourists arrival in the month of November in Nepal. The October brings a massive increment with more than 23000 tourists arrival from different parts of the world by air. The number of tourists arrival for different purposes has increased massively than the last few months.
There were only a few tourists arrival in the last few months before September in Nepal. From March to August the highest number of tourist arrival in a single month was 5917. So there has been a massive growth in the arrival of tourists in Nepal if you look at the stats.
In April, there indeed was 22000 plus tourists arrival in Nepal when things seem to get a little better . However, the few months after April were affected again due to covid-19 concerns. After a couple of months, the vaccination program was rapidly organised and things seems to have got a little normal as of now.
Nepal has already been taken out of the UK red list zone about a month back. On top of that, Thailand has recently made announcement that it is open for tourists from different countries which includes Nepal as well.
As it seems, things are getting pretty much normal in Nepal. The day to day activities are running smoothly and the restrictions are limited as much as possible. Most of the Nepalese are already vaccinated and the vaccination campaign is still on going time and again. On top of that, Kathmandu is safe as it seems- the capital is the first destination that you will land if you are taking a flight.
Moving on, here is a key breakdown of tourist arrival from different parts of the world in Nepal.

The highest number of visitors are from the neighbouring country India. Nepal has already opened the borders for the tourists traveling to Nepal via land ( the protocols and conditions regarding covid are applied).
India- 8736 (which covers 37.52% of the total tourist arrival in the month of October)
Following up is The United States of America.
USA - 4711 ( which is 20.23% of the total arrival)
And then The United Kingdom
UK- 1381 (5.93% of the total)
These are the top three countries from where the highest number of tourists arrived in Nepal. Along with that, tourist from 30 different countries visited as well.
