Tourism after covid-19

We have always asked ourselves, 'what could be worse ?’ and the worst has happened. The world right now is fighting against covid-19. After more than 3 months of a total lockdown, scientists are still not able to create a vaccine to fight the virus. In between these 3 months or so, each and every industry were shut down, businesses went on loss and the global economy turned the other ways.
One of the hard hit industry due to covid-19 is the tourism industry. After more than 3 months of lockdown, the tourism industry finds no way to get back up and start the game, though couple of other industries have started working again. The lockdown is not over yet,  it just got a little loose than before. The air transportation as well as other domestic and public transportation services has been totally suspended. Some chartered flights were made to bring back people to their own country who were stuck in different parts of the world.
The hospitality industry has been choked due to this pandemic. Hotels, Travel agencies, Guest House, Airlines, Restaurants and many other business are shut down. Though some of the restaurants have been providing the delivery and takeaway service, the other businesses related to the hospitality industry finds no way to get back up anytime soon. One of the major reason to for tourism and hospitality industry to get stuck is the transportation. The industry can work normally only if transportation gets back which is why it is very important part of this field. Meanwhile, some of the domestic airlines are working on to find a way to restart the air travel by following the social distancing protocols. If they succeed on working on this one, there might be a slight chance to start air travel services because the main question lies here, Is the government ready?, Are people ready? And most importantly, Is it safe ?
This is the most important part to restart the tourism i.e.  to be safe. Safety is the top most priority for tourists while traveling. Now with this pandemic and no cure to be found out yet, the safety has just raised the bar in the tourism industry. The corona virus has left many tourists stranded in different parts of the world. So even after this pandemic is over and the world gets back to normal, it would be very hard for the tourism and hospitality industry to bounce back easily as other industries. But who knows what tomorrow has got for us. It is  a competitive world. Sooner or later, the tourism and hospitality industry is going to find a way to run the business again. Apart from that, many people have posted about traveling as soon as this pandemic is over. So lets just hope for the positive because that is all that matters in life.
