While the vaccines are getting all ready to be used the new strain of Covid-19 has been found. However, people and the authorities are more aware this time and they are effectively treating this virus from further extending to large number. Despite the awareness and precautionary measures, Nepal has discovered new strain of Covid-19 infected in three people out of which two are already recovered and one is getting treatment. The government and the concerned authorities are trying hard to prevent this and the Nepal government is also planning on to bring vaccines from India very soon.
Well 2020 was definitely a crazy year, where tourism industry suffered like never before but the government and the tourism entrepreneurs have been constantly trying to find new ways to promote tourist activities and resume their business again. Traveling and tourism activities have been almost resumed in all parts of Nepal.
At the end of last year, international tourists from different parts of the world did arrived to Nepal for holiday purposes as the nation opened its doors for foreign nationals for trekking and mountaineering. More than thousand tourists arrived in Nepal at the last couple of months of the year 2020 in Nepal as the Covid-19 cases were slowly getting under control.
Tourism industry is ready and all set to go for the year 2021.
2021 is all about the preparation now. Despite several ongoing tourist activities, the tourism industry has not been fully resumed yet but on the positive side the Government authorities, Nepal tourism Board and other sectors are continuously working on to improve the tourists destinations and tourism services in the time of pandemic. The cultural and heritage sites are being renovated and the new tourists destinations and activities have been discovered during the pandemic.

While the arrival of international tourists are slowly increasing in Nepal for holiday purposes, the domestic tourism has shown a great improvement throughout the nation. Each and every activities has been resumed and these days look like any other normal days. Now with the vaccines for Covid-19 soon to be arrived in Nepal, we can only hope for the positives.

While we might see a positive light in case of the Covid-19, the political situations might be not favourable for few days now. On the other hand, the air quality of the capital has massively decreased as the environment around is covered with dust and oil particles. So these might be the only issue tjis time but it might not affect much during your travel to Nepal.
