Nepal government permits on arrival visa but conditions apply.
Well the one of the major highlights in the field of tourism industry of Nepal seems to be true. Nepal government might just have permitted on- arrival visa services for the tourists. The updated notice regarding the arrival was released earlier this week which was also posted on the official Facebook page of Nepal Tourism Board.
Tourists who are willing to travel to Nepal for tourism activities are urged to get their visa from the diplomatic missions abroad while the ones who could not access to these authorities can get their visa on arrival at the Tribhuwan International Airport at the immigration desk but with all the required documents as need be. However, check the official and make sure before making plans.
No more hotel quarantine for tourists upon their arrival in Nepal
Not only the on- arrival visa services, Government has also revised the previous rules for the visitors. Tourists who arrive to Nepal for different tourism activities are now no longer needed to stay in a hotel quarantine if they can provide a PCR negative report or the certificate of the vaccination against the corona virus. The visitors have to provide a PCR negative report 72 hours prior to boarding the flight and should head on for another PCR test immediately upon the arrival at Nepal. However, they need to stay in a quarantine until the result comes negative and they can head on straight according to their itinerary.
With this good news, the tourism entrepreneurs and the travel agents are quite happy as they are eagerly waiting for the arrival of tourists. However, the updated notice is not so clear yet. There are few things that still are confusing. So please consult with your travel agents or the concerned authorities before traveling to Nepal. I would also suggest you to book a Travel agent if you are planning to Nepal. Solo travel might create a little Hassel this time
The sky is not clear yet in Nepal as the smog might take a little more time to disapper.
From morning and throughout the whole day, the sky is all gray. The smog has created less visibility and unhealthy air. However, with the help of little bit of rain last night, the smog has slightly decreased and the sun did shine today but the sky is not clear yet.
The situation is not yet over and the best way to get out of it is the heavy rainfall as the experts says. It has been a couple of days with all this smog and due to less visibility several flights have been delayed and diverted from Tribhuwan International Airport in last couple of days. The rain did take down some of the smog with it and the visibility is little more clear now.
Moving on to the Covid-19 situation, the concerned authorities have been a little more strict about the health and safety protocols lately. However, the day to day activities are smoothly running everywhere inside the country and the Government has not come up with any new announcements regarding the situation.
