Have you applied for the 2023 EDV program?

The 2023 Electronic Diversity Visa has already started from October 6, 2021. The state department has started accepting entrants from 9:45 from the time being. The EDV program 2023 ends on November 9, 2021 at noon. So hurry up before it is too late. 

Every year up to 55000 diversity visas are provided for entrants from different parts of the world. There will be same amount of Diversity visa available for the fiscal year 2023, out of which no country will be given more than seven percent of the total visa available. 

Submit your application as early as possible

Every year thousands of people from Nepal submits the EDV application and we can expect the same number of applicants this year as well. So you might want to fill up and submit the application as soon as possible. Do not wait until the very end as there might be high number of application submissions by the end which may create delay in server or likewise. 

So apply as early as possible and save your confirmation number. You will be provided with a unique confirmation number which is very important. You will need it to check the result of EDV 2023 program when it comes. 

Eligibility/Required Documents to fill up the EDV 2023 program

• Valid Passport 
• Photo
• High school degree/ 12 years of formal education Or 4-5 years of work experience in the same occupation

The 2023 EDV program application is free as usual. It is better to fill up and submit the form by yourself than to get it filled by some stationery or internet cafes as you need to provide all your details.  You can get the form here. 

When it comes to photo to be submitted during filling up the form, you need to follow the guidelines mentioned in the instruction form. So snap your passport size photograph from a professional or you can get it from the photo studio nearby and get it transferred to your mobile/ computer from where you will be filling up your form.

You can check your 2023 Electronic Diversity Visa result from May 8, 2022. If you are selected then you will receive another confirmation letter with further instructions and information for the next step. Good luck!
