The number of international flights has increased after the last lockdown in Nepal. Not just the flights but there has also been addition of new international airlines as well. Now that the Himalayan nation has relaxed its COVID restrictions for the visitors, here are few of the top budget airlines that has direct flights to Nepal.
Most of the airlines that have branches in Nepal are from Asian countries. Here is the list of budget airlines that might serve some of the cheapest flights to Nepal.
Fly Dubai
It is one of the popular low cost carrier that has direct flights to Nepal. The Dubai based airlines has been one of the common choice among the visitors.
Jazeera Airways
This Kuwait based low cost carrier with its head office at Kuwait international airport is one of the new addition to the airlines having direct flights to Nepal.
Air Arabia
Air Arabia is another low cost carrier from the Middle East that has been operating direct flights to Nepal for a while now.
Salam Air
This Muscat based budget (head office at Muscat) has been operating direct flights to Nepal since last few years.
Malindo Air
Malindo is an airline from Malaysia with its head office at Kuala Lumpur. It is not totally a low cost carrier and serves Business and economy class seats. This airline is a part of Lion Group.
Previously, another Low cost carrier from Lion Group, Thai Lion ( from Thailand) used to have direct flights to Nepal. However, the new flights from Thai Lion to Nepal has not been operated yet since the lockdown.
Beside these, Turkish Airlines is the one and only European carrier that has direct flights to Nepal. Other international airlines are Qatar Airways, Korean Air, Srilankan Air, Malaysian Airlines, Cathay Dragon Air, Singapore Airlines.

While the premium International airlines might serves the most comfortable journey and service to its passengers, the budget airlines seems to be one of the optimal option for the tourists.
