It has been a while since Nepal resumed the on arrival visa services for tourists arriving from different parts of the world via Air. The on arrival visa fee for the tourist has been remained constant for certain time being the hich is below 200 USD.

Where to get the on arrival visa in Nepal?
Kathmandu Airport (TIA) being the only international airport of Nepal as of now is the entry point for all the visitors who arrive by air. So the Immigration Department at Tribhuwan International Airport will provide the on arrival visa for the tourists.
Procedures to get the on-arrival visa
- Fill up the arrival form/ card which is the initial process
- Fill up the 'Tourist Visa' form which can be done through kiosk machines at the airport Or you can fill up the form online via the website. If you fill up the form via website then you must ring the submission receipt with you. Bring it in a printed format just to be on the safe side. Note: the receipt will only be valid for 15 days. After that you need to fill up theform again.
- Make the payment at the bank as per your visa requirement and get the receipt
- Find the immigration desk and provide the the visa form, receipt, passport and any other travel documents (if necessary) to the officer for the visa processing
- If everything is good, you will finally get an on- arrival visa.
Note: As per the recent update by the department, tourist should bring 200 USD cash to get on arrival visa. Please be updated about this and bring some cash with you just to be on the safe side if you are traveling to Nepal anytime soon.
